Hi, I'm Anja Schaer, a German native who ventured from behind the Iron Curtain to the
United States, going after my own the American Dream, a journey filled with unexpected
turns and inspiring triumphs. Today, I stand as a dedicated Real Estate Investor, Short
Term Rental Owner, Operator, and Coach based in the vibrant Metro Atlanta area.

My entry into real estate literally happened by accident, sparked by a click on a
Facebook ad. This accidental discovery ignited a passion for transforming distressed
properties, buying & selling Real Estate and later venturing into the interesting space of
short-term rentals, a niche where my creativity and meticulous attention to detail could
shine. Over the past five years, my husband and I have developed a diverse portfolio of
properties, navigating the complexities of the market and learning every nuance of this
dynamic industry.

In 2024, we launched PeachHaus Furnished Rentals, a testament to our commitment
and expertise in the field. Our business not only caters to travelers seeking Short Term
Rentals, but also supports local families, relocations, and corporate clients with
beautifully furnished, temporary housing solutions. Most recently, we've expanded our
services to include Co-Hosting, helping other property owners optimize their operations
and maximize their earnings without the day-to-day hassles.

Besides our STR & MTR operations, I’ve also created a unique Coaching program
(Host2Success - a small Group coaching course). Established in 2022, I empower
women, particularly those who may feel constrained by their backgrounds or current
circumstances, to break barriers and achieve financial freedom through real estate
investing. My goal is to inspire, educate, and support aspiring investors by sharing the
lessons learned from my own journey—underscoring that with the right guidance,
actionable steps & a community of like-minded women to show them that the world of
real estate is accessible to all.

Words from Cory: Currently I am a design consultant for West Shore Home, the largest family owned and operated home remodeling company in the nation operating in 21 states and 41 locations nationwide. I have flipped 2 properties in the past with the last one, which will be the big topic on the podcast, temporarily taking me out of the REI game to focus on paying down my PML and other debts occurred. It was a major financial set back but the experience led me to a successful and fruitful sales career that is allowing me to recover and pay off 160k in debt in just 2 years.
