Luis Lancos is founder and CEO of DataWhisper, innovating in AI governance and data solutions. Seasoned senior technology executive with decades of tech leadership and innovation experience across major financial services companies, including Atos, Worldline UK&I, and Elavon, a US Bank. Luis successfully delivered major tech transformations, and he is an established fintech innovator with a passion for AI business impact; he led several pioneering AI innovation projects over the last decades, ranging from real-time transaction monitoring to fraud prevention systems.

Luis also helps several start-ups as an AI advisor, such as climate start-up PI Concept and sports tech innovator DS Performance.

DataWhisper empowers risk and compliance teams to safely and responsibly run and scale Generative AI solutions. Their AI Governance platform, featuring advanced AI agents, offers real-time monitoring for the secure and compliant deployment of Generative AI and It provides a robust governance and risk management framework for Gen AI models across the organisation.

Rob talks to Luis about what prompted him to start Datawhisper, how he is building out the business to support AI Governance around ethics and responsibility and what his ambitions are.
