Students in this age group are navigating identity, anxieties, academics, AND the constant pressure to have their next steps mapped out. During the high school years, students struggle adjusting to the new environments, defining who they are, and where they fit in.

Alicia shares great ideas about how to engage and connect with your high school student. She stresses the importance of being intentional about building the relationship with your student and how impactful it is at keeping the communication lines open. She also gave us great insight on how to help your high school student learn to advocate for themselves, and the best ways to stay in the loop with their teachers.
