    In this episode I'm breaking down a lesson I learned from a Kabbalah teacher, David Ghiyam, about the purpose of personal and spiritual growth.

    The inner work and personal transformation you do is what "creates the vessel" to receive the things you want in life.
    There is no God in the sky that you need to convince.
    Your free will is to transform yourself to be able to "hold" more energy. It's the inner work you do on your thoughts, and feelings so there is no faking or pretending.
    Take every opportunity that life gives you to work on your negativity.

  • ALP: Making Empowered Decisions with your Food Choices
    2024/10/28

    I've been a vegetarian for over 16 years and while I don't think that just being a vegetarian makes you healthier, it led me down a path of learning about the food industry, learning about ingredients and food labels, and being conscious about what I feed myself and my family.
    It can be paradigm shifting to learn that just because something is in the grocery store doesn't mean it should be consumed and this is especially true when it comes to the "food" products that are marketed to children.
    I believe that the best way to improve your health is to eat a whole food diet as much as you can. You will eat approximately 3 meals a day (plus some snacks in there for some) and exercise only once a day, or for some people it might be 3 times a week or less. But many people have an emotional connection to certain food products or they turn to food when they are stressed, overwhelmed, or even happy. This can be why it's the hardest thing to change for people.
    Knowledge can be power, so start researching what those ingredients are in your packaged food and look at the nutritional label as well. All of it will help you be more informed and empowered in creating peak health.

    This week we are talking about the importance of personal growth work and what "working on yourself" actually looks like.
    This episode was inspired by the quote from Neville Goddard: "To seek on the outside for that which you do not feel you are is to seek in vain, for we never find that which we want; we find only that which we are." and
    Personal growth work benefits you and it benefits everyone around you. It's a win-win situation.
    When we are all working towards our highest selves and coming from "clean energy" we change the world.

    It's been a minute since my last episode! After a couple months off I felt inspired today to share a back to the basics episode on the 4 components of an Aligned Life.
    I really do believe that each of us has a responsibility to be all that we can be and living an Aligned Life isn't just a nice concept but something that we each deserve to create for ourselves.
    By doing the work to manage your mind, create peak health, build fulfilling relationships and be on purpose you literally make the world a better place to be because you are elevating your own frequency and showing others what's possible in the world.

  • How to Create Better Mental Health
    2024/06/05

    This week i'm sharing 6 ways you can create better mental health and have a rock solid mindset.
    A few things I really want to emphasize are:
    We are not meant to "feel good" all the time, because we don't! Life is both "positive" and "negative" and so nothing has gone wrong when we are experiencing negative emotions. And as you have probably heard me say on other episodes, the negative emotions are always guiding us to what we do want, so learn to listen to the message.
    Another important point is that putting in "work" or "effort" is really what creates those fulfilling feelings. We are meant to create and accomplish things, not just consume content. So if you find yourself feeling low or unhappy, do something helpful for someone else, create something, finish a project, get outside, workout, eat something nourishing, connect in real life with someone close, or get some rest.

  • AWP: Marathon, Dealing with Disappointment and Mindset

    The marathon I've been training for since January is finally here (on Sunday) and I've been sick for the last 11 days. On this weeks' episode I share about my mindset and dealing with the disappointment of missing runs and adjusting my schedule and goal time.
    I also talk about making meaning of circumstances and learning lessons during those difficult times.
    One of the last things I share is that everyone should run a marathon (if you feel called to!) because of how it changes you. Physically you will get into the best shape, and mentally you will become so strong and determined and it will completely change your self concept.

  • AWP: Doing Hard Things and Having Big Vision
    2024/05/02

    I'm currently training for a marathon, which is on May 26th, and the process has me thinking about the importance of doing hard things and creating a big vision for yourself.
    The point of having a big goal is about the person you become in the process of working towards it. Even if you don't accomplish the goal (this time), you will have become so much "bigger" and improved yourself so much more, than if you set a smaller, more "realistic" goal.

    You’ll learn so much about yourself by working hard and holding a big vision.

    You show yourself respect by doing what you know you need to do, even if you don’t always feel like it (and many times, you won’t).

    Lean into discomfort because that’s the only way to expand your comfort zone and bring in anything that’s outside your comfort zone.
