We're back!!!! I have MISSED this podcast so much! The routine of it all, being in a flow state while editing, I missed everything about it. As you may have seen on the HLP instagram, I took a little break because it was all just getting to be too much. We were planning a wedding, working full time jobs, dealing with every day life and I realized I didn't want this to be a half effort thing. I love this podcast and if I'm doing it, I want to give it my all.

After a much needed break, I'm back with a Honey Lemon Shot, accompanied by my now husband (ew) Lendall. We talk about our post wedding reflections, some tips for those maybe taking that next step and we talk about important decisions we made not just with the wedding but with life moving forward. One of them being that I decided to stop drinking over a year ago.

Life after marriage is... drum roll please.. exactly the same! I'm not mad about it though. Hope you enjoy this episode!

Nikki Habibullah is a holistic nutritionist, personal trainer and overall wellness girly. She’s been in the game for quite some time but has really found her stride lately as she shares her postpartum journey with baby number two. She brings good energy, calm vibes and giggles wherever she goes and I am so excited to be chatting with her in this episode!

We are also joined by her son (the cutest little thing you ever did see) Nico throughout this episode and it was so refreshing talking about topics like motherhood and showing the real side of it as Nikki juggled Nico throughout the entire episode. There may or may not have been some live breastfeeding happening and I just love how real that is for all the mommas out there!

Another honey lemon shot but this time we have my fiance joining me because in this episode we're diving deep into our couples therapy experience. This was something I had been wanting to do with my partner Len for years but he had major reservations about it. I thought it was important to talk about why we decided couples therapy was right for us but also how we both gave each other space to be ready for it.

Len also discusses in depth why he was so against therapy at the beginning and how his thoughts have changed. Most importantly he came to these conclusions on his own and in his own time.

There are so many ways our upbringing and life can affect us and I thought it was so interesting to dissect how the order you were born in can affect your personality.

I definitely comb through all of the traits of each sibling you could be and I would love to hear from you if you think these traits were true to you. Of course life experience and nuance will always be present but this is just a fun way to understand ourselves a bit better don't ya think?

Happy New Year! This Honey Lemon Shot is a bit different this week. I'm joined by my lovely fiance (soon to be husband in 8 months) Len and we talk about some of our 2023 reflections.

Has anyone ever actually held up a New Year's Resolution? I genuinely want to know because I don't think I ever have. That's why we focused on reflections over resolutions. We also talk about our different philiosphies in staying committed to ourselves this year and how we are achieving that.
