A perfect short story for your commute to work, this episode hear from a sender about the ultimate betrayal. However, when one door closes, 10 more open. When bad things are cleared it makes room for the good, for what's meant to be. So I hope this listener and anyone that can relate to this episode knows it's not really a loss if it puts you where you're meant to be and with the people who are meant to love you.

Christmas for most is a whimsical time full of love, light, laughter, and joy, for many this feels like a time straight out of a movie. However, for many the holidays just add extra stress and pain, luckily there are many people that have come together to try and bridge this gap creating programs like Angel Tree or Operation Christmas Child. This episode I share my experience of donating through the website One Simple Wish, a year round giving program that makes it easy and enjoyable to help/uplift youth and young adults impacted by the foster system. There's a story, wish, a gift, that I'm sure will inspire you to give all you have to do is look. Truly the greatest joy I've experienced this holiday season had nothing to do with what i got and everything to do with what I gave.

This episode is particularly special we have 2 stories in one. The first story will make you question was it manipulation or just a phase, was it betrayal or just being unhealed, was it intentional or just bad communication, and does it actually matter? Is disrespect, coldness, silence, ghosting, distance worse or better when it’s purposeful or accidental, when they put thought into it to hurt you or didn’t keep you in mind at all. A melancholy but soulful Thanksgiving episode for you listeners. This episode, I share a letter to my grandfather who has officially been gone one year. I had no idea what this letter would offer me when I began to write it, however, I chose to finish and share it anyways. The healing I've experienced since has been surprising to say the absolute least.
