  • Episode #230: The Road To Societal Armageddon W/Michael Ness
    2026/04/11

On this episode Michael Ness joins me again, only this time we are going to do something a little bit different. Michael and I have always said “it is too bad that folks don’t get to listen to some of the stuff we talk about when the microphone is recording”. So with that thought in mind we decided to have one of those types of conversations but this time just hit the record button and let it go. The result is that we have a discussion about a lot of things that are plaguing our society and culture. We cover everything from the potential for nuclear war, to population collapse, the retconning of history, the breakdown of the family and some of the incorrect historical assumptions around that topic, our poisoned food supply, the effects of social media, how younger generations were given unrealistic tax burdens placed on them by the baby boomers outside of Mormonism, the dangers of social media and much more.

  • Episode #229: Breaking The Chains of Addiction W/Zack Nielson
    2026/04/04

One of the things that is affecting our society today is addiction and statistics say if there is not someone in your family that struggles with addiction then you know someone who is. It drives many of today's social ills such as Divorce, Crime, Neglect, Parent and Child Conflict, Poverty, and even Modern-Day Slavery. On this episode I have Zack Nielson on the podcast. I had Zack on the podcast just a few weeks back. One of things that Zack is passionate about is helping others overcome and heal from addiction and he does this by volunteering at a local support group. During the course of our conversation Zack and I cover how he came to be associated with the program helping folks overcome addiction, the physiology of addiction, what type of triggers exist that causes relapses and addictive behavior, the difference between guilt and shame, how the program that Zack volunteers at works, the principles that have proven to help people overcome addiction, and how the Savior and His Atonement works in helping folks overcome their pain and addiction.

  • Episode #228: Navigating A Fallen World As A Daughter Of God W/Zoe & Makayla
    2026/03/28

On this episode I have on a couple of young women to talk about what it is like to navigate this fallen world as Mormon Fundamentalist Women and as a daughter of God. Now for those of you who watch or listen regularly you will remember about three weeks ago I had Zack & Makayla on the podcast where they each told their story. Today Makalya joins as well as Zoe Erickson. Zoe is the daughter of Josh Erickson and both of these young women are thoughtful and intelligent which will be on full display as we sit down and have this conversation. During the course of this conversation we touch on a lot of different topics ranging from the messages young women receive from the world, unrealistic beauty standards, plastic surgery, abortion, competition, the messaging from the world to young women, their thoughts on women and priesthood, historical roles of women in the early restoration, and much more. Buckle up for a thought provoking episode. Also for those that are interested Makayla has started her own YouTube Channel called the Divine Daughter Project and after having watched a couple of episodes I can't recommend highly enough as a resource for our young women and you can find a link to that channel in this episode's show notes.
