Hey y'all thanks for joining me again. Wow has time passed. I honestly have had a lot going on in my life and this took a back seat. Thanks for your patience with me. If you've been here since the beginning you know I've wanted to podcast weekly, biweekly, monthly. I hope to have some consistency and for now my goal will be monthly. If you'd like a topic covered or like to be a guest let me know! I am not ready for a full sprint but I'd like to start walking again with this podcast.
This episode we dove into how my trip to Lebanon went. Discussing a variety of related topics like having parents whom are immigrants, not having family all together, the beauty of modern technology, the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine, culture and experiences. Trying to find balance in things, trying to be a peacemaker, being an empathizer, realizing how when talking about empathy for innocent civilians harmed in Palestine and/or Israel there is this narrative you can only pick one side and not have empathy for those suffering on the other side. It doesn't sit well with me. I have empathy for all those suffering. We were out sightseeing October 7th the beautiful Tyr, Lebanon where Christ had walked and I loved it.. but we came home to hear the news of what Hamas did to innocent Israelis. That broke my heart. And in the weeks that have passed I've mourned for the innocent families broken, murdered, and bombed in Gaza. It's been an emotional roller coaster for me I share but also I've had many moments of peace, comfort, and taking action to my best ability. Prayer and fasting have a new meaning to me. As well as taking care of my physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental health. Love, hope, and kindness is really the key to happiness, finding peace, and sharing it. I hope you are well, I hope you don't feel alone, and I hope this episode isn't too shabby.
Sending love,
Tori
