  • Episode #6: Charley Hughlett, veteran long snapper for the Cleveland Browns
    2020/11/30

Episode #6 features my friend Charley Hughlett, veteran long snapper of the Cleveland Browns.

In this episode, Charley talks about what COVID football has been like, tells his unique story of overcoming adversity before landing a starting position in the NFL, and how he uses visualization and breathing techniques to prevent performance anxiety.  We also touch on nutrition for athletes a bit.

Charley's position as long snapper is one of the most unique positions in all of sports requiring precision, accuracy, patience, and an incredibly tough mindset. Getting to dig into these things in this interview was a blast for me.

For the first year, the NFL has included the long snapping position in its Pro Bowl fan vote. If you enjoyed this episode and would like to support Charley, head over to https://www.nfl.com/pro-bowl/ballot/special-teams/ls/ and give him a vote (or 10)!
