Hey World! In this episode I do a deep dive into where it all started. Yep, pretty early huh? That's right, just as a very young kid, the wreckage starts creeping in. I give you an inside look on what it was like being the youngest child of five and having them grow up and leave the house. The feeling of sadness and abandonment, how that all came into play at an early age. How we were taught as young men not to show emotions maybe kind of scarred us or like I say created some wreckage inside of us. How do we deal with that now? Let's talk about it and clear the wreckage together.

Hey World! In this episode I share with you my journey into therapy. How the notion and question came about asking or wondering if I may need to seek out therapy? How it all came about was because I was willing to become a better version of myself. I was on the path of choosing to no longer escape but instead deal and heal. Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever felt broken? Have you ever felt discouraged? Have you ever felt or have been depressed? Have you ever felt like no one really understands you? Have you ever felt abandoned? Have you ever had suicidal thoughts or a hatred for yourself? Well, I have felt all these feelings and I am here to comfort you and remind you that you are not alone. Also that you matter and you are worthy of love. Your relationship with yourself is the most important and it should be valued over anything else so that you can clear the wreckage and become your true self. You are worth it!!

Hey World! In this episode I share with you my daily and weekly routines. A bit of a system, I might add that I followed which helped me clear the wreckage. One of the things that I noticed about myself is that I had a lot of wreckage up in my noggin. You know, that big head of mine and how the way that I thought about myself was pretty, well not pretty at all, destructive. It was wreckage still all up in my head. So my routine helped me discover things about myself but also help me change. And when I say change, I mean, see it, acknowledge it, admit it. Yes indeed. You already know, especially if you been listening. Hopefully you will find something in this episode that will help you clear the wreckage as well.

Hey World!! In this episode I share with you how valuable a mentor was for me in clearing the wreckage in my life. Not only valuable in helping me stay clean and sober but in ways of helping me mature and grow. He was someone I could trust. Someone I admired and also he was someone who let me in. He was vulnerable with me and was his true authentic self every waking moment. He taught me by showing me his life. In a mentor you want these examples. Someone you can trust. someone who is real and vulnerable with you not someone who will just tell you what to do, oh no, that is not a mentor. Listen as I share how I received guidance without him having to tell me what to do but instead by him showing me. That's a mentor.

  • Surrender, it takes what it takes!

Hey World!! In this episode, I share with you the part of the my story where I was coming to that place of surrender. How I got there and what it took for me to surrender. The definition of surrender is to give up oneself, as into the power of another, as by agreeing to stop fighting because of defeat. Well, have you ever felt defeated? Have you felt like you were tired of being sick and tired? Have you ever felt like you were at the bottom and there is no where else to go except up? Well, you are not alone. I have felt all those feelings, and emotions. My life was a rollercoaster for sure. However, I was able to surrender to something greater than me because I saw that power at work in my friend. If it wasn't for him sharing his story with me and walking with me hand and hand, I would not have had any hope. See sometimes in order for us to see we are defeated and have no power is maybe to see the power demonstrated through someone else. Then we say that famous saying, "Well if they can do it, I can do it!"
