In somatics, we say we must “slow down” to speed up, meaning we must slow down enough to listen to the body & our parts in order to cultivate the safety to be presence with what is happening internally and fully receive from the resources we have available. The day I recorded this episode I had a somatic breakthrough that inspired this integrative somatic training on tending to our hurt or wounded parts as we continue to create our most fulfilling lives. My own practice has been not leaving any of my wounded or shameful parts behind as I expand at quantum speed and outgrow the identities that didn’t feel safe to lead the life I’m living.

Mexico has been a potent time of ancestral remembrance in slowing down, receiving resource from Mother Earth, and tending to the younger parts of me that didn’t feel safe to exist in my full power & expression with & beyond money. For as long as I’ve known myself, I’ve been a big dreamer and a high achiever but I was taught (like most of us) that I needed to toxically push, force, and stress my way into higher success because that’s what it takes to survive in a capitalist, colonial society that disconnects us from our body’s inner wisdom. There’s a point when your spirit’s desire to thrive outweighs the your nervous system’s conditioning to survive. In this episode I break down some of the keys I’ve unlocked in creating embodied regenerative wealth for myself and setting myself free from internalized oppressive systems.
