  • If you're a Highly Sensitive Person or a Deep Feeler, your nervous system must be overstimulated just thinking about attending a protest, watching a video of yet another act of harassment or violence directed towards someone from an oppressed group, and trying to read or watch too many anti-bias resources too soon.

My name is Leesa Renée Hall and as host of the Inner Field Trip® podcast, I hope that the featured conversations will inspire you to do activism in a way that is sustainable so you #StumbleBravely in your quest to align with justice and become a better ancestor.

  • Best of the Weekly Update - Boundaries, Part 2
    2019/03/18
I'm retiring the weekly audio update...

...to make room in my calendar for my team and I to work on the docuseries and the Unpack Biases Now podcast.

To celebrate this transition, every Monday between now and March 25, 2019, I'll be sharing The Best of the Weekly Audio Updates...

I looked back on a year's worth of weekly audio updates and pulled a few clips together, grouped into EIGHT broad themes, such as Money and Race, Who to Learn From, Handling Outrage, Doing the Inner Work - Part 1, Doing the Inner Work - Part 2, and Boundaries - Part 1, just to name a few.

Each episode contains 4-6 clips of around 5-10 minutes for each clip. I'm expecting the Best Of will become a timeless resource you can refer to again and again.

This week, we continue the topic of boundaries...

This is Part 2 of 2. The topic of boundaries is one of my favourite. In fact, of the almost 50 expressive writing prompts I've put together in this community, 40% focus on how to build strong, loving boundaries. I used to suffer from the disease to please and in the past five years, I've worked really hard on establishing stronger boundaries around my time, energy, resources, body, and space.

Listen in if you need encouragement, or simply to be reminded why investing your time and money into interrupting your unconscious biases is so critical.

This is Part 2 of 2 (Part 1 is here if you missed it). I continue speaking about why it's important to do the inner work before jumping into activism.
