Sometimes whatever health issues you may be dealing with can intertwine themselves with your identity and belief around what is or isn't possible for you! This is something I (Kate) have definitely experienced myself. For a few years, I held myself back from reaching for things that I'd wanted in the past, because I thought that MS was a limiting factor holding me back.
I'd just accepted that because I had this illness, I had no other options than the struggle I'd felt when energy dipped, when my brain let me down with thinking clearly, etc.
BUT Amanda brings up a great point in this episode that can make a really big difference for people! What if things could be better? What if you could open your mind even a little to looking for little things you could do that might help you get even a little bit healthier?
In my experience, both personally AND helping clients, this can be a turning point moment to realize that there are things you can do for yourself! Many people are in the place I was in waiting for someone else to show up and fix things for you, but you have way more personal power to help yourself than you may realize.
