  • Episode 17 - Alberto Dana: 'Showing Up' for the Miami Training Community
    2022/07/06

Hi, I’m Alberto Dana, a fitness professional based in Miami, FL.

I run my own personal training business in South Miami, Dana Athletics, where I get to work with a diverse group of young entrepreneurs, business executives, fitness models, yoga instructors, and gen pop. I am also the Co-Owner/Fitness Manager at OM Movement, a boutique fitness studio located in Coconut Grove. As both a Fitness Manager and Strength Coach, I have over a decade of field experience, having worked for one of the largest fitness chains in the US as a Master Trainer, Group Instructor and Fitness Director.

I specialize in strength & conditioning, senior fitness, yoga, fitness nutrition and lifestyle management.

I like to consider myself a bit of a movement afficionado, because I enjoy learning new things and I enjoy practicing different types of movement disciplines such as, martial arts, gymnastics, animal flow, yoga, and unconventional weightlifting.

Knowing that I am helping my community be healthier and stronger brings me fulfillment. Training clients allows me to be in my element by being able to influence others to find purpose and helping them do things they never thought possible.

My mission is simple, to change lives through fitness and empower my community to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

"Tentative efforts lead to tentative outcomes. Therefore, give yourself fully to your endeavors. Decide to construct your character through excellent actions and determine to pay the price of a worthy goal. The trials you encounter will introduce you to your strengths. Remain steadfast...and one day you will build something that endures: something worthy of your potential.”
