    IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! In this episode, we reflect on my life and talk about the biggest lessons I have learned as I enter the last year of my twenties. Your twenties can be portrayed as the best time period of your life, especially, in the social media space. For me, my twenties were some of the hardest years of my life -- I faced depression, anxiety, financial issues, abusive and toxic relationships/friendships/work environments, etc. Everything I have gone through has set the foundation for where I am going.     In this episode, we cover all things setting boundaries: Why setting boundaries are important, how to know when it is time to set a boundary, how to effectively communicate a boundary, and what to do if the boundary that you have COMMUNICATED continues to be crossed. I give some very clear and specific examples, as well as realistic and tangible ways to communicate your boundaries if needed. In addition, I offer some advice for those struggling to set boundaries within the work place and dive into the workspace vs. home discussion (teachers, I'm look at you!!) If you are a recovering people pleaser or someone who has a difficult time saying no and often times, you find yourself completely overwhelmed or emotionally drained, then this episode is for you.

  • How Imposter Syndrome is Keeping You from Going After the Life of Your Dreams + How to Overcome It

    Welcome to the first official episode of the pod! In Her Flow, the Wellness Podcast is a space where we dive deeper to uncover what true wellness looks like for you. Wellness shows up in various ways not only including the way we eat and move our bodies, but also how we speak to it. In this episode, we dive deep to understand imposter syndrome and how it keeps us from going after the things we want in life. I share my own personal experience with imposter syndrome, BIG EMPHASIS on how it stopped me from creating a podcast multiple times, and I also discuss how imposter syndrome may be showing up for you so you can 1) recognize the signs and 2) know the steps and resources you can use to kick it in the BUTT, so you can go after the life you have always wanted. This is not to say you will NEVER experience imposter syndrome again, but you will definitely have a better understanding of what it is, and how to tune out that voice that tells you that you are out of place.
